About the Lodge
Olakira Migration Camp is located in the northern part of Serengeti national park boasting views of the vast wildlife species in the park due to its superb location, it is placed within proximity to the mara river where the great wildebeest migration happens, the lodge ensures front seat to the worlds greatest happening with 270 views from your bed, during the migration, millions of zebras, gazelles, and their accompanying predators make their way into the Serengeti from the Mara annually, the migration camp is perfect to stay during this time and is a great place for travelers seeking for comfort, cozy and adventurous experiences.
Location
The camp is located in the northern part of Serengeti National Park. It can be reached by air from Arusha or by road, taking approximately 9 hours by car to the national park and about only an hour and a half flight.
Rooms
Olakira Migration camp comprises 8 spacious tents sleeping up to 16 guests, powered by solar energy with a backup generator. Each of the tents has a king-size bed, an ensuite bathroom running both hot and cold water, wash basins, and bed lamps, flush toilets, rack space for clothes, floors are covered in cozy rugs, a well-stocked drinks cabinet, open fireplaces, and tea and coffee making facilities.
