About the Lodge
Nimali Mara is nestled in the extreme north of Serengeti national park close to the boarder with Kenya, it is placed within proximity to the happening of the great wildebeest migration on of Africa’s top wonders and top 7 of the world, in this location is where the mamal species meet the greatest challenge during the migration, it happens in the peaking season between July and October every year, the battle is within survival for the fittest as the river is infested with some of the most largest crocodiles, while at the camp you have the chance to witness most of this dramatic movement.
Location
The Lodge is located in the northern part of Serengeti National Park, and it is placed within proximity to the airstrip, about an hour’s drive. By road, the lodge can be reached from Arusha; the total driving distance is approximately 9 hours.
Rooms
The eight tented suites are tucked into the rock kopjes 2 of which are honey moon cottages, all rooms are carefully designed to seamlessly fit within the environment they have been built offering great views of the park from the private deck, they feature ensuite bathrooms running both warm and cold water, flush toilets, complimentary toilets, mosquito nets, cosy rugs, tea and coffee making facilities.
