About the Lodge

Munazi Eco Lodge is ticked away under the green canopy of Nyungwe Forest National Park, the conservation area is one the finest locations of the land of a thousand hills, home to about 13 species of primates and is notable for Chimpanzee and the black and white colobus monkeys, the 5 star facility is perfect for guests looking for relaxation, quiet environment and adventure, while at the lodge all you can hear are sounds of birds and achoeing charters of primates, it is built from reclaimed material of exotic wood from the forest helping to regenerate native plants while supporting the local community.

Location

The Ecolodge is in Nyungwe Forest National Park, just 1.2 km off the Kigali Road. From the Kigali International airport is approximately 6 6-hour drive; alternatively, helicopter flights can be arranged to the facility.

Rooms

Munazi Eco lodge features 9 frame ensuite cottages and one executive room, altogether they make up 20 beds placed with soft linen furnished with both cold and warm water in the showers. These have been designed to suit the high rate of rainfall while letting natural light in with open views of the surrounding forest area. Rooms feature a sitting room, an ensuite bathroom.
