About the Lodge
Ishasha Wilderness Camp is an eco-friendly luxury camp in the heart of Queen Elizabeth National Park, straddling along river Ntungwe.it offers a unique experience for nature and adventure lovers, surrounded by breathtaking views of the park, the exclusive tented camp is built in a superb unspoilt nature remote part of the park amidst the savannah grasslands of Ishasha sector, this part of the park is the only place of Uganda to see tree climbing lions. The camp’s style is cozy and straight up to comfort with a spacious main area featuring a lounge bar, library, and dining area overlooking the riverbank.
Location
The camp is located in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is famous for tree-climbing lions. Flights can be arranged from the Entebbe International Airport to Kasese or Mweya airstrip for an hour. Alternatively, guests can drive up to the park, about 6 hours’ drive from Entebbe.

Ishasha Wilderness Camp comprises 10 intimate luxury bush camps featuring a spacious bedroom area, large comfortable beds and a generous mosquito net, ensuite bathrooms running both hot and cold water, bucket showers for a real bush experience, the rooms offer privacy, a veranda overlooking the river and the surrounding environment, complimentary toiletries, flush toilets, beautiful cozy rugs, armchairs, bedside lamps.
