About the Lodge

Escarpment Luxury Lodge is an intimate luxury facility in Lake Manyara National Park, offering stunning views of Tanzania’s wildlife. The conservation area is renowned for its vast number of wildlife and bird species, including the Big Five of the African wilderness, above all, the most iconic tree-climbing lions. The luxury facility was opened in 2011 and has been open since then, receiving positive compliments from travelers. The lodge’s décor is made to meet the perfect setup of the modern African style with traditional wood carvings and artwork. The welcoming staff members go the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction.

Location

The luxury Lodge is located in Lake Manyara National Park. It can be accessed by road from Arusha, taking approximately 3-4 hours. Flights can also be arranged to Lake Manyara Airstrip and, thereafter, a 10-minute drive to the Lodge.

Rooms

Escarpment Luxury Lodge comprises 28 Redstone chalets, all of which are spacious, allowing for fresh light through the large French windows. Each room fits a king-size bed that can be arranged as a twin on request, the polished wooden floors, and wooden carvings are just as beautiful as the linen and neutral colors used to design. All rooms feature an en-suite bathroom.
