Cormoran Lodge

Cormoran Lodge is a beautiful lodge along the shores of Lake Kivu. It was constructed in 2011, perched long the hill with stunning views of the Lake and the surrounding rolling mountains of Rwanda, its great location makes it perfect for travelers connecting to the Nyungwe forest National Park, Volcanoes national park for mountain gorilla trekking and those seeking to rest and relax at the Lake Kivu its self, the sunrise and sunsets are magical to experience as well as the locals sailing on canoe boats,  the main area if the facility features a restaurant and bar area, the wooden cabins face the serene Lake Kivu and from here guests have the chance to peacefully relax and unwind.

Location

Cormoran Lodge is located in Kibuye along the shores of Lake Kivu, approximately 6 6-hour drive from Kigali international airport.

Rooms

Cormoran Lodge comprises 7 intimate cozy wooden cabins, these can be arranged as a doble room, twin room and a vip cabin on site, they all face the Lake Kivu, and are equipped with television with satellite channels, mini fridge, bath/shower running both hot and hot water, large beds dropping with mosquitoe nets, reading table, chairs, wash basin, clean towels and bed linen, tea and coffee making facilities.
