About the Lodge

Arcadia Lodge is a 5-star facility along the shores of Lake Bunyonyi. The lake was named Bunyonyi due to the many birds living on the many islands of the lake. It is the deepest lake in Uganda formed as a result of volcanicity. The luxury facility is ideal for travelers seeking to immerse themselves in the extreme beauty of the pearl of Africa! Since 2004, the family-run business has offered luxurious accommodation serving mouth-dropping meals while creating a warm, welcoming ambiance and experience to travelers. It is one of the most popular places in western Uganda for a perfect gateway.

Location

The lodge is located along the shores of Lake Bunyonyi. It can be accessed by road or by air from Entebbe international airport, a distance drive of approximately 8 hours to the destination.

Rooms

Arcadia lodge offers luxurious rooms, well-designed to fit the perfect blend of nature. They are 25 self-contained cottages overlooking Lake Bunyonyi and its stunning islands. Each of these features has a private deck, en-suite bathroom, showers running both cold and warm water, coffee/Tea service facilities, and they have been designed to meet pure comfort and style in the serene natural environment.
