Angata Ngorongoro

Angata Ngorongoro Camp is angelically set on the eastern side of the Ngorongoro crater just inside the park boundaries, it is one of the smallest    and yet simple camps recommendable for small groups of people it used to be located in acacia campsite but fully shifted to Nyata special campsite, the camp is elevated at 2310 meters above sea level, it is named from the Masai local language, the word “Angata” means wilderness in the Maa language it was founded in 2011 as a way to cater to midrange travelers reaching out to Ngorongoro conservation area it offers accommodation in 8 tents only ‘

Location

Angata Ngorongoro at the edge of Ngorongoro Crater, it can be accessed by road from Arusha for approximately 2 hours drive along the northern part of Tanzania.

Rooms

The camp offers accommodation in 8 beautiful rooms, these have been built to match environment and can be arranged as single, double or twin room occupancy, each of these is well furnished with ensuite bathrooms with a shower with both h, clean flushing toilets, desk, arm chairs, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, comfortable bed linens, pillows, beautiful rugs.
