About the Camp

Mara River Camp is beautifully situated in the northern part of the Serengeti National Park, offering breathtaking views of the Mara River. The ambiance of the camp feels like a trip taken back in time, yet it is furnished with modern amenities to suit the environment in which it was built. Guests are surrounded by nature’s most outstanding spectacle. The river is a backdrop for the movement of the great wildebeest migration. Not only does the migration make this location special, but also the vast, rich wildlife, from the king of the Jungle to gazelles, zebras, and bucks, is in constant presence.

Location

The camp is located near the banks of the River Mara. It can be accessed by air or by road. By air, it takes approximately 60 minutes from Arusha, and by road, approximately 9 hours to drive into the conservation area.

Rooms

Mara River Camp is placed with 24 spacious tents with ensuite bathrooms and private verandas overlooking the conservation area, they are designed to fit within the environment they have been built and are decorated with a fusion of modern and traditional African design, room amenities include a flush toilet, showers, Cozy rugs, bedside lamps, tea and coffee making facilities allowing guests enjoy the conservation area in comfort.
