Lewa House is strategically placed in the heart of Lewa Conservancy on a hill commanding views of Mountain Kenya and Mount Ololokwe. It is a family-run business, home to Sophie and Calum Macfarlane it is operated and hosted in 10 rooms. The conservancy was initially established as a cattle ranch and was later announced as a wildlife sanctuary. It is a known UNESCO World Heritage site. Today, the region is home to several wildlife species, including Rhinos and Grevy’s Zebras, and several other wildlife species. A stay at the Lewa House allows you to explore and enjoy the activities of the region, including guided walks and game drives.
Location
Lewa Conservancy is approximately 5 hours’ drive from Nairobi, and domestic flights can be arranged from Wilson International Airport.

Lewa House comprises on 3 family cottages these are 2 adjoining rooms 1 is a double and the other is a twin, and 4 ensuite cottages also referred to as earth pods, these take a maximum of 18 people, they feature an ensuite bathroom running both hot and cold water, tea and coffee making facilities, the rooms are flat enough for wheel chair accessibility, tea and coffee making facility.
