Borana Lodge

Borana Lodge is angelically placed in the heart of the Borana conservancy, it is a gentle feel of stepping back in history through its wonderful design perfect for families, honeymooners, and special occasions, the cottages command unobstructed views of the Borana conservancy perched along a hill all of which are designed around the main Lodge area built with a thatched roof, large wood bar serving assorted drinks to travelers, with 2 large fireplaces to immerse yourself after a long days activities for example game drives and guided nature walks within the conservation area, the pool is situated in the indigenous gardens receiving lots of bird species.

Location

The Lodge is located in Borana Conservancy, and it can be reached by road in approximately 6 hours from Nairobi. Charter flights can be arranged from Wilson International Airport to the Lewa Downs airstrip.

Rooms

Borana Lodge comprises 8 cottages, 4 of which are standalone rooms and 3 family cottages. Each of the family cottages contains a twin and double room combined with a usual sitting and dining area. These cedar stone thatched accommodations feature an ensuite bathroom running both hot and cold water, open fireplaces, and private verandas overlooking the savannah, coffee and tea making facilities, and comfortable, cozy bed linen.
