Ashnil Aruba Lodge is a midrange facility in Tsavo East National Park, the park a sectioned region of the larger area of Tsavo National Park, the conservation area is home to several wildlife species including red dust elephants, lions, leopards, Rhinos, antelopes of different species and several bird types, the lodge features 46 standard rooms and 6 tents just a few kilometres from the Mombasa coast, and 5 hours drive from Nairobi, it straddles along the banks of Aruba dam, the dam was constructed in 1952 with several nearby pot holes that collect water and gather animals all year round.
Location
The Lodge is in Tsavo East National Park. It can be accessed by road from Nairobi for approximately 6 hours drive. It can also be accessed by air at the nearest airstrip.
Rooms
Ashnil Aruba Lodge comprises 20 rooms, eight of which are interconnecting rooms, four triples, and six tented rooms, and 2 rooms reserved for guests with special needs. All rooms feature an ensuite bathroom running both hot and cold water, Wash basins, complimentary toiletries, charging facilities, coffee and tea making equipment, verandas overlooking the savannah and the dam.
